What do Expect

Day 1 Arrive in Hanoi

Begin your full-day tour of Ha Long Bay from Hanoi with a handy hotel pickup from the Old Quarter or Opera House area. Then sit back and enjoy the views of the countryside en-route to the UNESCO-listed bay.

Around midday, board your cruise boat and fuel up with a tasty Vietnamese seafood lunch on board. Admire the impressive karst landscape as you sail to your first stop, Sun Sot (Surprise Cave), with dramatic formations lit with colorful lights. Next, enjoy some active adventures, including kayaking and swimming in the bay, and hiking to the top of Titop Island for panoramic views.

Cruise back to port in the early evening while the sun sets, then board your bus for the return trip to Hanoi. While many Ha Long Bay tours require you to stay overnight, this day trip is ideal if you’re short on time.
